Titanium Backup is a third party application which is coded by developers for Android. It is the best application out there in the Google Play store for taking backups of your Android mobile phones.

Titanium Backup is having both free and paid versions. But you will get most of the essential features in the free version itself. You might be thinking why you need Titanium Backup as there are some inbuilt apps which help you to take backup of your android phone. Definitely there are some apps, but these apps don’t allow you to take backup of all your settings of your android phone, only third party apps will allow you to take the entire backup of your mobile and that’s why we are using Titanium Backup.

What do you need?

You only need two things for performing and restoring the backup and those are:-

Download the software from the link provided above or simply browse for the software in Google Play Market. Once you have downloaded it just install it and keep one thing in mind and that if you will be asked to grant super user permissions to Titanium Backup when you are going to install it click Remember and then Allow. Keep one more thing in mind to turn on Allow installation of non-market applications from the Developer options menu. Once you have completed the installation you are ready to perform your first backup.
